Computer & I.T. Cell

SFRI has a well-established computer & IT Cell. About 65 PCs are connected to the LAN. This cell is handling various activities related to the computers and information technology. The cell is entrusted with the following responsibilities:

1. Procurement and maintenance of all the computer hardware, software and peripherals in the institute.

2. Maintenance of LAN/WAN/Intercom/CCTV Cameras/Internet systems and the website of the institute.

3. Development of computer programmes for various applications.

4. Development of computer based Research Management System (RMIS) for the institute.

5. Development of computer based Library and Archive Management System (LAMS).

6. Facilitation in organization of webinars, virtual meetings, etc.
